Review Policy
All articles submitted to the Editorial board of the Journal undergo a peer-review process to ensure the quality, scientific rigour and alignment of the publications with the Journal's aims, objectives and subject areas.
Initial Editorial Assessment
All submitted articles must meet the Journal's requirements regarding formatting and content.
Articles are first reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief and members of the Editorial board for:
- alignment with the Journal's thematic focus;
- compliance with submission guidelines;
- compliance with ethical standards.
Articles that do not meet these criteria may be returned to the author for revision or rejected without further peer review. Authors are notified of the receipt, return or rejection of their manuscript by email.
Review Process
All materials submitted for publication undergo a double-blind peer review process, which ensures the anonymity of both authors and reviewers.
The purpose of external peer review is to ensure the scientific quality, originality and relevance of the research through expert evaluation by independent scholars.
Based on the results of the review, reviewers may recommend one of the following decisions:
- Publish as submitted – the manuscript meets the requirements without changes.
- Publish after minor revisions – the author is asked to make amendments to the text in accordance with the reviewers' comments and recommendations.
- Return for revision – the manuscript requires substantial changes; after revision, it may be resubmitted by the author for review and publication in subsequent issues of the Journal.
- Reject – the manuscript does not meet the standards of the Journal, ethical requirements or the thematic focus.
The final decision on publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers' recommendations and the Editorial board's assessment. Authors are informed of the results and, where appropriate, provided with the reviewers' comments.
